A significant milestone in the history for people with dementia

Today is a significant milestone for Dementia Alliance Worldwide (DAI) and for masses with dementedness, having launched a turning point guide "The Human Rights of People Live with Dementia: from Rhetoric to Realness", as a upfront result of DAI's protagonism and a rights-settled approach. Including access to the United Nations Convention connected the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) which has also just been adopted by Alzheimer's Disease World-wide.

There are currently more than 47 million people with dementia globally and one radical diagnosis every 3.2 seconds. There are 850,000 people in the UK World Health Organization have a form of dementia, more than 5 million in America, and more than 353,800 Australians with dementia in Australia. If dementedness were a country, it would be the 18th largest saving.
